2 Onions, chopped
1 Green pepper, chopped
4 Stalks of celery, chopped
2tbButter
1lbGround beef
1cnWater chestnuts
1cnSliced mushrooms
1cnMixed Chinese vegetables,
  Drained
  Soy sauce
  Parsleyed garlic salt
3cCooked rice
1cnCondensed cream of mushroom
  Soup

Saute chopped onions, celery and green pepper in butter. Add ground beef and brown. Drain off excess fat. Add undiluted soup, Chinese vegetables, drained sliced water chestnuts, and mushrooms. Sprinkle with soy sauce, about 2 tb., and garlic salt. Heat thoroughly and serve over rice, thinning with a little water or wine. Randy Rigg
